Home Education with SL Tutoring UK:
Learning that's child-led, engaging and built around curiosity—not classrooms.
Fun. Flexible. Personal.
Helping children discover a love of learning through experiences they'll remember.
We Understand Home Education
Home education isn't about recreating school at home.
It's about giving children the freedom to learn in ways that work for them.
Some children thrive outdoors.
Some need movement.
Some become experts in dinosaurs, space, Minecraft or art.
Some simply need time to rediscover their confidence after school hasn't worked for them.
That's where we come in.
At SL Tutoring UK, learning starts with your child—not a timetable.

Why Families Choose SL Tutoring
Built Around Strengths
20+ Years of Teaching Experience
I'm Elizabeth Lavelle, an experienced teacher, former Assistant Headteacher and tutor.
During more than twenty years in education I've worked with hundreds of children of all abilities, including those with:
• Dyslexia
• ADHD
• Autism
• PDA
• Anxiety
• School avoidance
• Gaps in learning
I've seen first-hand that children don't fall behind because they lack ability.
Often they simply haven't yet found an approach that works for them.
My aim is to build confidence first.
Everything else grows from there.
Sometimes they just need someone to help them discover them.
Whether your child loves football, dinosaurs, Minecraft, Harry Potter, cooking, animals or art...
...those interests become the doorway into learning.
Confidence grows naturally when children experience success.
