Information

At SL Tutoring UK, we offer a variety of scheduling options to best suit your child's learning needs and your family's routine. We tailor our tutoring to the needs of your child.

Home education sessions

We provide engaging Home Education sessions tailored to different age groups (5-7, 8-11, and 12-14 years), aligning with the National Curriculum outcomes for Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. These small group sessions are available daily, ensuring consistent support for your child's learning journey.

Year 6 SATS support

If your child is in Year 6 and preparing for SATs, our weekly group sessions on Wednesdays are designed to provide targeted support in reading, GPS (Grammar, Punctuation, and Spelling), and mathematics, helping them build confidence and achieve their best results.

Sessions take place 6.30-7.30pm each week, even through holidays. All sessions are recorded so that you can catch up, or revisit.

1:1 Tuition

If you're looking for something more personal and tailored to addressing your child's needs, then a 1:1 session is an option. These can be booked in 30 minute or 60 minute slots. Tuition is offered in all areas of the curriculum up to Year 9. These spaces are limited, so it's always best to get in touch to find out availability.

Booking information

To ensure we can provide the best possible tutoring experience for your child, we require some key information during the booking process. We also operate a transparent booking and cancellation policy.

What we need to know

When booking a tutoring session with SL Tutoring UK, we'll need to know your child's name, age, and interests. This helps us tailor the sessions to engage them and build on their passions. After discussing your expectations, we ask that you book 4 sessions in advance, with payment required before the first session.

How far in advance to book

Due to high demand, some sessions may have waiting lists. Contact us to discuss your needs so we can inform you as soon as a space becomes available. Our 1:1 sessions, especially after school, tend to fill up quickly, so it's always best to get in touch early if you're interested.

Cancellation policy

We require bookings to be made in 4-week blocks with advance payment. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, such as illness or appointments, and we'll always try to accommodate these. Group sessions are recorded for catch-up, while 1:1 sessions may be rescheduled. If you wish to discontinue sessions, we require one month's notice.
